11.No lifeguard at pool so number of people diving in and disturbing other residents 12.Constantly having to login to the Wi-Fi every couple of minutes regardless of location inside hotel 13.No toilet rolls in any of the ladies cubicles in communal toilets near bar area and pool area 14.Told by one member of staff we could take snacks to the pool and told the complete opposite by another member who was quite aggressive 15.Travel agent and travel company telling us different times when hotel opened, pool opened and pool bar opened. The only thing that was fresh was the towels as we left these on the bathroom floor. When burgers and hotdogs were finally available in buns burgers cold as they were already packaged and heat lamp was only keeping buns warm and not filling 7.Pasta not cooked on several occasions and new trays of food not brought out for quite some time 8.Entertainment extremely poor and the same every night (DJ only) with no one else in hotel apart from ourselves as everyone else gone out due to no entertainment 9.Lifts only work half the time 10.Maids made beds with same linen all week and no mopping or wiping. hotdog rolls and hamburger buns and tuna salad swimming in tuna water, sandwiches soggy. 6.Snacks also cold and no bread to accompany them I.e. We did mention to the hotel manager about the food and was assured that this would be taken care of but still no change. Breakfast inedible as eggs burnt and bacon swimming in grease and underdone Had to put bread through toaster 5 TIMES to toast but still not toasted. So when around the pool we had to venture down 7 floors to get a drink and then 8 floors when looking for snacks 5.No variety in food, had to seek food elsewhere on numerous occasions so more expense. Pool bar finally open on Saturday 10th June. Htop Royal Sun Suites Santa Susanna, Costa Brava Sunday 4th June 2023 - Sunday 11th June 2023 The below comments are what we experienced at the above hotel: 1.Unsafe chairs outside (screws missing or hanging out) 2.Food cold, needs to be warmed up by microwave 3.Undercooked chicken (sent back by maître de but no apology) 4.Was told pool bar not opened until Thursday however spoke to manager on Wednesday and she said everything was open but still not open. We had a great stay and would recommend it. It wouldn't put us off staying here again. The view of the mountains from the hotel is fab, unfortunately we couldn't see it from our room, and yes,It was noisy at night due to local entertainment,however this stopped at midnight. Enquire at either HTop hotel and they'll help you. Also, if you stay in the "sands" section on the beach, which is Infront of another HTop hotel, you can hire the beds and umbrella on the beach for a reduced price. Sometimes in the morning the pool area was busy but by 1pm most go off for lunch and it empties out for the afternoon. The pool are was bigger than I was expecting, with the bar being on the same level. Staff were always friendly, never stopped working! Different theme of food most nights which was nice. Food was replenished quickly, always warm enough. Breakfast and dinner were a buffet with plenty of choice for all 4 of us. I was so nervous after reading the reviews for this hotel but now I'm convinced they were about another hotel. Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort.
